Cable Schedule Template
A cable schedule for recording cable IDs, source, destination, cable type, length, route and notes. This is designed as a practical starting point for installers, customers, facilities managers and consultants.
How to use this template
Download the CSV
Open it in Excel, Google Sheets or another spreadsheet tool.
Rename columns only if needed
The default fields are designed to suit common low-voltage and security projects.
Complete during installation
Do not wait until the end of the job; fill it in as cables, devices and ports are confirmed.
Attach to handover
Keep the final version with the as-built drawing, photos and commissioning notes.

Practical notes
- Use the same naming convention on cable labels, diagrams and schedules.
- Leave blank rows for future expansion.
- Record the actual installed port, input or output, not just the design intent.
